The Pilgrim

The Pilgrim
In the embrace of the night, forthright, in the enduring distance,
back to the sun.
The path where no man walks
No spirit or angels of God
Away from the voice of virtue.
How the semblance of God departs me.
Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel,
Selaphiel, Raguel, Barachiel,
The seven thorns of the circle, absent,
The day is the night,
The night has no end,
The way is a vault of starlight,
Faded so dim that the darkness overwhelms it.
Sweet symphonies abandon, pandemonium,
fury in the wind, a tremble ambience abound
Beyond the reach of the warm cloak of heaven.
The tongues of angels unravel
Peregrinus processerim,
Angelus solus in tenebras quam spirituali.
Behold, he who walks alone,
Pilgrim,
sword of flame,
celestial scribe,
faith of the dead,
death of the living,
sojourner in temples of sorrow,
healer, order and disorder,
chalice of suffering,
dweller in the shadows,
mover of perennial order,
defier of chains,
cause of anguish,
mirror of death,
seed of horror,
transcendent vessel,
vessel of wisdom,
arc of the wretched,
refuge of the traveller,
pilgrim far from the sun.

Voyage to the End of Time
The shadow to the west fades.
There, beyond the black veil,
past the chasm of sulphur,
even yonder the Styx
Where silence is deafening,
and a tremor lingers menacing in the air.
Face, pale towards the chasm
Churning through the meandering ether
Even fear chose abandon,
Time wither, bent on the constellation,
There, beyond the black veil,
furthest from the sun,
at the end of time and space,
at the edge of the mighty black eternal.
There, is where I choose to linger,
where the teardrops fall
that drowns the fire of men,
washes ancestral sin, baptizes
me in astral flesh.
To a waking eye,
burning like andesine gems,
at the very edge of existence, there!
Illumination through revelation.
… And I rise to the east
with a face bejewelled in starlight
First of the morning,
first is the coming of dawn,
There, beyond the black veil,
furthest from the sun
At the end of time and space
At the edge of the mighty black eternal.

Dream Rivers Lachrymose

Dream Rivers Lachrymose
Unveiled as I was amidst the far reaches of fire and brimstone,
it came to me, the end of time.
Riding gently on the tempest, revealed in sorrow,
like a seed that saw no light, I touched the wound everlasting.
The last ambers of the divine spent through revelation,
and I fell through the labyrinth of incessant nightmares.
There, I dreamt rivers lachrymose
There, I cried rivers lachrymose.
Time seemed endless.
An infinity of whirling cosmos, longer than the lifetime of the planets,
colder than the returning tide of death.
And on my wake, shaken
As a lamb bereft of the flock,
as the angel who stared into the eyes of the destroyer.
… And in the silence, breathless,
the vessel of wisdom shattered.
No longer subservient moon.
In the tide of the dying light, I wake radiant star.
There, I dreamt rivers lachrymose
There, I cried rivers lachrymose.
Ishtar, Haniel, grace of god,
Eye of the amulet awaken unto me
Sigillum Dei, I wake radiant star.

Through the Well of Starlight
The ocean of stars before me transcends the spirit realm.
Its waves lament the virtue stricken away in this revelation.
In the shadowworld glimmer, a silhouette of a memory reveals
white light of angels burning the labyrinth whence I came
Drowning a legion of screams, silencing even my breath.
Hear, the violin plays an ode to silence
and within it a soliloquy fell through the well of starlight.
On the edge of sanity
thousands of years fallen
smitten on the ruins
a portrait in my mind.
Where have they gone?
Where has she gone?
Will it not go, my poetry
across this ocean to thy beauty?
Hear, the violin plays an ode to silence
and within it a soliloquy
fell through the well of starlight.
